Author Nicole D'Settēmi Interview

Nicole D'Settemi is a published poet and novelist. She is also a serious disciplinary of fine art including painting, sketching and mixed media, along with photography. Nicole was technically trained in photo journalism in 2006 at The Art Institute and then, later at SCI.
The former published (art) model has various projects going on, and facilitates LCDS Creatives; a creative advisory team that assists clients with their entrepreneurial visions, for successful digital and social media ventures. The business was developed in 2013 when she began assisting another author while penning her own works.
Nicole proclaims her poetry the most important and authentic of all of her work and is currently developing The Mother Nature Anthology - a three part poetry series with THE FIRST INSTALLMENT due out this year. She is also penning the second of ELEVEN books in the War Stories Chronicles; a collection of memoirs, diaries, letters, poems and other pieces of writing that detail her fight towards sobriety and insanity, from the span of 15-27, until she sought and obtained her sobriety in 2010.
Today, Nicole lives in the Hudson Valley with her fiance who is also an artist. They facilitate LCDS Creatives, and The Art House of Seviles in addition to several other subsidiaries of the main branch. They offer fine art, personalized portraiture, and other mixed media pieces for sale through La Casa de Seviles - their digital art gallery.
In December of 2017 Nicole was awarded the visionary award in arts from the renowned news-site - breakwaydaily.com, for her War Stories Chronicles. She has also been featured on the cover of Soul Central, Flaim, and International Music Magazine for her poetry collections and memoirs.
